I've been using Songbird lately and liking it, except for a couple of inexplicable oversights- it doesn't burn discs and it doesn't play Apple encoded files.
I expect they'll patch those holes ASAP, but until they don I can't recommend it.
I did find a nice freeware dvd burner that does just what I want it to without all the superpowered authoring stuff I never use and that just confuses me- ImgBurn.
the front end is a little clunky, but the manual is great and it works like a charm.
I am not sure why anyone uses iTunes anyway.
ReplyDeleteI've been buying mp3's from Amazon.
