I have not composed my magnum opus on your magnum opus yet.
I can report that Skindred was playing on a loop in my head last night as I scoured the sink, and I find their blend of dub, metal & punk piquant and unique.
Just the sort of thing I was hoping for.

ReplyDeleteSkindred have steadfastly refused to tour the States since I became aware of their existence. They are touring right now, of course, but it is as an opening-act for the deadly-dull Disturbed. I've sat through a Disturbed show, once, waiting for a real band to come on. They won't be earning any of my money a second time.
